Eyelet Lace Socks

This is a very nice pair of socks!! I love knitting with Lorna's Laces! I used a pattern I found in Homespun Handknit that I checked out from the library. Here are the particulars:

Lorna's Laces Sock ... Bold Red

72 stitches for the leg, 68 stitches for the foot

US 1 dpn's

The sock exchange between Monica and myself has been postponed. She was going to come over here this past weekend and we were going to go to the Wool Gathering, but circumstances (on both our parts) didn't allow that to happen. We will have to look forward to going next year. So, I will work on her pair of socks for a little while longer and she will work on mine and we will have our exchange later on. Hopefully at her eldest daughter's birthday next month.

Mandy drove some more yesterday and she is slowly improving. She likes the white line (scary for this passenger sometimes, so no knitting going on just yet). She has already asked if she can drive to piano lessons tonight and allergy shots tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm really ready for this.

I need to get ready for work. More later!

Hang in there with the driving. We have another driving permit person in the house right now. I think boys are easier than girls. Love your eyelet lace socks.

I have one more year before I get the "mom, can I drive," but she sure is talking about it a lot. The child can hardly ride a bike without crashing, how am I going to let her drive? Love the socks, btw.

Lorna's Laces is one of my favorite sock yarns, too. Nice pattern...I just love red socks!

Very nice! I'm using Lorna's for the first time now on my Mystery Socks. Got some more of it in the stash, too. It's a great yarn! Love the red!

Wow - gorgeous eyelet lace socks, and the color is stunning!

Hang in there with the driving. You'll be used to it before you know it.
