I finished the second pink Regia baby sock. It was a very slow day at work, so I was able to get to the foot done there. I just finished kitchnering the toe and weaving in the ends. Now I'm off to make more.
Have a great weekend.
For Shelley, here is pattern,
blueberry waffle socks
It is very easy. I used 36 stitches for these.

Work is interfering with my knitting. But I did manage to knit 1 full and 1 1/2 pr of baby socks. They are made with Regia Cotton Surf. I like this yarn, it is so soft. Just right for baby feet (and adult's as well). I think a pair of the pink is in my future. I knit both pr with the Blueberry Waffle pattern. I'll let you know when the second sock is done ( I have started it).
Now I'm going to get some sleep.

I've knit 3 more pair of baby socks this weekend. They are fun and fast!! All these are knit with Lion Brand, the pink ones are Jelly Bean Stripe, the purple is Purple Print. The first Jelly Bean pr is knit in the Waffle Rib (SKS), the purple is Thuja (knitty.com) and the second Jelly Bean is "trek's" Rune pattern. I'm casting on a pair of Sockies from the Socks, Socks, Socks book that should be fun.
Have a great rest of the weekend!!

On to the button thing. If anyone reading this can tell me how to capture the cute little buttons so many of you have on your blogs and get them on my blog I would appreciate it. TIA!
I'm working on the heel flap of the Rib and Cable sock and I'm on the gusset decreases on the Cherry Tree Hill sock. So, progress continues. I'm still deciding what to put on those empty needles. More later.
Have a safe day and wear your wooly socks!!

So, now I have an empty set of size 1's (and my sister(Monica) says it's a sin to have empty needles, and she is my knitting guru so I have to follow her teachings). What to start? I will have to see what yarn and pattern talks the loudest to me. I'll keep you posted.

This will be loaded with pictures of what I currently have OTN.
This of course is Jaywalker. I'm knitting it with Schaefer Yarn Anne, my sister gave it to me for Christmas.
This is Rib and Cable sock from the fall 2005 Interweave Knits magazine. The yarn is Regia 4 ply color 5033. I added one stitch to each of the non cable knit columns for 66 stitches. Keeping my fingers crossed that that will be enough to fit my feet and legs.
This sock is from SKS (Sensational Knitted Socks), 4-stitch Reticulated pattern #5. Knit with Knit Picks Essential- Burgandy and Knit Picks Simple Stripes- Vineyard. 72 stitches for the cuff with an increase to 80 stitches for the leg. I knit the cuff on size 1's and the leg is being knitted on size 2's.
This sock is also from the SKS book. It is Stansfield #10 (page 48). Knit with Cherry Tree Hill Potluck, 66 stitches on size 1's. I finished the first sock lastnight and started the second sock right away (aren't I good? no SSS on this sock). I have secret surprise socks that I will post (after I give them to my daughter for her Sweet 16 birthday).
There are a few more projects that I don't have pictures of that I will post later. My son's cable sweater ( I swear I'll have it done by This Christmas). A couple of Zig-Zag scarves, a shrug (for daughter) and other stuff not necessarily knit related.
Have a great day!! Karen

My sister (Monica) taught me how to knit socks a little over a year ago and I'm hooked. Or should I say obsessed. My husband says that's all I do 24/7... and even though that isn't true, I wouldn't mind trying.
So that's it for the first post ... short and a little mundane. More to come.....
