Monica's Chevron Socks

I can't believe they are finally done. I think this is the longest it's ever taken me to finish a single pair of socks. I was beginning to think I wouldn't get a pair done in November too. But here they are... Monica's socks. I knit them with Opal Dreamcatcher (it's been so long I don't remember the color #). This is the Chevron pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks. They are identical until the heel. Opal must have been having a bad day when they produced this ball of yarn because the color band lengths were off in the heel of the first sock (the one on the bottom). So, from the heel down the socks don't match (this really bums me). This pair of socks covers so many KAL's I belong to... the SKS kal, SAM2, and maybe even Lacevember (there are intentional holes in these socks, making them lace).
That's it for now. Have a great weekend!!! More later.

woo hoo hoo my socks look great, wish yours were done...what a slacker sister you have. They will get done eventually. I did look at them the other night...does that count? I cant find the charts I made so I need to rewrite that so I can finish them

They are gorgeous! I am so impressed by all the socks I see on blogs I just need to bite the bullet and learn to knit some myself. Happy Birthday! It sounds like it was lots of fun. The yarn is lovely!
