There Is Nothing Like...

... a horrible bout of stomach flu to stop the knitting dead in it's tracks. I had every intention of finishing this pair of socks Wednesday night (Valentine's Day) but it just wasn't possible. Mandy must have brought it home from school because she started with the yuckiness on Tuesday night and I soon followed the next night. But I did get them done today and here they are: Box of Chocolate/Martha Socks
Opal Uni (brown, not the plum it looks like in the picture)
60 stitches
US1 dpn's
pattern is from Socken-Kreativ yahoo group
the design makes little boxes (blocks) on the leg.
They fit great.
And before the stomach problems, I cast on Aija's RPM sock from Knitty. I'm using the called for STR in medium weight in Watermelon Tourmaline. I will post a picture of those when I'm further along. So stay tuned. More later.
